Eastside Neighborhood Plan

Under the provisions of the new General Plan, neighborhood plans will be developed for each of the 26 residential neighborhoods in the city.

The Eastside Neighborhood Plan, which is the City's second such plan, is a planning and design document intended to describe the kind of environment desired by residents of the Eastside Neighborhood.

City of Riverside Planning Staff has developed a Plan that will establish a clear vision and implementation strategy for improving the Eastside residential neighborhood.

Throughout the planning process, community members had the opportunity to address the most important issues that affect the quality of life in the Eastside Neighborhood, including land uses, urban design, parking, circulation and community mobility, parks and open space and noise.

Attendees also participated in an in‑depth discussion of their visions, goals and ideas for the project.
