
This annexation area includes approximately 320 acres within the County’s approved Gateway Specific Plan located on the northeast side of Interstate 215, easterly of Watkins Drive.
The Gateway Specific Plan includes up to 259 multiple family dwelling units on 16.2 acres, up to 294 single family dwelling units on 81.2 acres, approximately 92.8 acres proposed to be developed with office/commercial uses, a church school and public facility located on 19.5 acres, 75.7 acres proposed for open space areas and two parks, 26.3 acres for streets and 6 acres for Department of Water Resources California Aqueduct easement.
The annexation area also includes the City’s existing 2 acre Ross Reservoir/Booster site. Staff work on phase one of the annexation containing approximately 103 acres was initiated in February 1999, however, this case has been on hold waiting for additional information from the developer.
