
The proposed annexation area consists of approximately 29.45 acres located at the northwest quadrant of Central Avenue and Sycamore Canyon Boulevard. The proposed annexation is an uninhabited area.
On October 26, 2004, the City Council authorized staff to proceed with the steps necessary for annexing this territory into the City of Riverside.
The current applicant has submitted a new request for consideration of the property for multi-family residential with an estimated 168 dwelling units.
This annexation was heard on July 17, 2008 at the Planning Commission. A City Council hearing date is pending.
