The Museum’s Nature Lab is open free to the public, offering hands-on experiences in natural history.
The Lab also contains a small collection of living vertebrate and invertebrate species for visitors to observe, many representing the animal and plant life of the Riverside region.
The lab is located on the second floor of the Museum.
Each of the Nature Lab's residents has a unique story. Learn more about the Museum's green iguana and other animals in the Lab. Drop in and to participate in hands-on activities, discover microscopes or watch Nature Lab attendants feed and care for the animals.
