Mayor Loveridge recommends the Council approve a recommendation supporting Congressman Ken Calvert’s Congressional Bill designating March Air Field Museum as the Distinguished Flying Cross National Memorial. (August 11, 2009)
Santa Ana River Parkway Task Force
Mayor Loveridge, in conjunction with Councilmember Gardner, calls for a task force to review the 2003 Santa Ana River Task Force and to recommend possible uses beyond those of a trail corridor. (August 11, 2009)
Support of Legislation Regarding Mortgage Loan Modification Services

The State of California Department of Conservation invites Riverside to be a participant in the Emerald Cities pilot project
The Mayor leads the City Council to participate in the Emerald Cities Pilot Project with the State of California Department of Conservation (February 3, 2009)
Resolution in support of Medical School Initiative at UCR
The Mayor, in conjunction with Council members, recommends that the City Council adopt a resolution in support of the University of California Riverside School of Medicine (February 3, 2009)
Resolution reaffirming that any and all private funds contributed to the Riverside Public Library will be used to supplement, and not supplant, regular funding of the library by the City.
The Mayor recommends that the City’s prior commitment to treat private contributions solely as supplements to the Public Library’s budget (February 10, 2009)
"City of Arts & Innovation" and Riverside Arts Plan
The Mayor, in conjunction with several Council members, recommended the City Council approve the Riverside Arts Plan and the branding of Riverside as the "City of Arts & Innovation" (June 23, 2009)
Appoint Non-Voting Youth Liaisons to selected City Boards and Commissions
Mayor Loveridge recommends that the City Council approve the creation of non-voting youth liaisons to five standing City Boards and Commissions: Cultural Heritage Board, Board of Library Trustees, Human Relations Commission, Metropolitan Museum Board, and the Park and Recreation Commission.
