March 2, 2010
Mayor Loveridge and Councilmember Mike Gardner recommend the City Council approve the Santa Ana River Task Force recommendations and priorities and refer the report to the City Manager to review, proceed and coordinate its recommendations.
Resolution to Become a Healthy Eating, Active Living (H.E.A.L.) City

Mayor Loveridge and Councilmember Paul Davis recommends that the City Council approve a resolution to become a Healthy Eating, Active Living (H.E.A.L.) City which promotes policies and practices that tackle obesity and support healthy lifestyles.
Introduction of a Formal Neighborhood Council Approach
May 25, 2010
Mayor Loveridge recommends the approval of a neighborhood governance approach using existing neighborhood groups, and the creation of formal procedures for recognizing Neighborhood Councils.
Block Building

Mayor Loveridge recommends the City Council refer the promotion of Block Building to the Riverside Neighborhood Partnership to work with the Riverside Police Department and the Office of Neighborhoods to evaluate and recommend solutions.

Mayor Loveridge recommends the City Council receive a presentation on the activities of the Mayor's Commission on Aging for 2009-2010 including support for the Riverside Senior Volunteer Program.
Volunteer Program Overview & Recognition

Mayor Loveridge recommends the City Council receive the report on the City's expanding Volunteer Program which has two branches, the Municipal Volunteer Program and the Municipal Internship Program.
Council Members and Mayor Support Seizing Our Destiny

Mayor Loveridge and Councilmember Gardner recommend the City Council approve the selection of Seizing Our Destiny's Eleven Strategic Routes by the Council Members and Mayor in an effort to promote, encourage, monitor and trumpet the achievement of the initiatives that fall under their respective Routes.
Student Entertainment Charrette

Mayor Loveridge and Councilmembers Mike Gardner and Andy Melendrez recommend the City Council receive the Improving Student Entertainment Choices Summary Report & Action Plan and authorize the execution of the Implementation Plan Priorities in conjunction with actions taken by the Student Entertainment Steering Committee and UC Riverside.
Overview of City's Sister City and International Program

Mayor Loveridge, Councilmember Rusty Bailey, and Councilmember Chris Mac Arthur recommend the City Council approve a resolution in support of California Proposition 21, the State Parks and Wildlife Conservation Trust Fund Act of 2010, that would directly impact the California Citrus State Historic Park.

Mayor Loveridge recommends the City Council receives and file a summary report on goals and outcomes of a Sister City visit to Gangnam-Gu, Republic of Korea during the month of October 2010. The City of Riverside and the City of Gangnam-Gu have been Sister Cities since July 1999.
