
Harry HoodHarry Hood has been such a valued volunteer for so many good causes and civic organizations in the City of Riverside.
In his nomination for this award are letters of appreciation from the Social Justice Committee at Newman Center, the League of Women Voters, and the Coalition for Common Ground, the Habitat for Humanity, and the Youth Accountability Board.
In addition to those organizations, Harry Hood has served on the Citizen’s Advisory Committee to the Chief of Police, the Inland Congregations United for Change, the Riverside Interfaith Fellowship, the Youth Strategic Planning Committee, the Coalition for Common Ground - Cops and Clergy Network, the Riverside Urban League, Survive Food Bank, the Riverside Chapter of AARP, and the Citrus Belt Chapter of the United Nations Association.
His work with such a diverse list of organizations clearly expresses Harry Hood’s remarkable commitment to improving the quality of life in Riverside for all our residents and especially for the neediest ones.
