We are here to answer your questions! Trained reference assistance is available at the Main Library and at our five branches in person or by telephone, or reach a librarian 24/7 through our Ask Now reference service.

To reach the Main Library's reference desk, call (951) 826-5201 ext. 5. Due to limited staffing, there is no phone reference available on Sundays.

Live outside of the area?

If you need information such as an obituary from a local Riverside newspaper, you may send your reference request in writing along with a self-addressed stamped envelope to:
