- Help price and stock materials for the Friends Book Sale area. The proceeds support your local libraries.
- Encourage reading and a love of books.
- Sponsor special educational and informative programs.
- Participate in community events.
- Work with members of the library board and foundation to promote excellence in our library system.
Our fundraising benefits the library in many ways, including:
- First Thursdays ArtWalk adult crafts
- First Sundays storyteller and children's crafts
- Buzz Bee Summer Reading Program
- Storymobile
- Cultural Programs: Author events, poetry readings, dance, music and films — all free and open to the public
- Library materials

- Rental collections of new DVDs and Books on CD
