Library expansion task force meetings set
The public is invited to attend upcoming meetings of the Library/Museum Task Force on the 7th floor of City Hall in the mayor's ceremonial room. The next meeting is June 6. The task force was created to make recommendations concerning the possible expansion of the downtown library and Metropolitan Museum. View project documents.
Arlington set to reopen in June
Library staff are moving back to the Arlington Library to prepare for re-opening the facility. The grand opening of the newly renovated and expanded library is scheduled for June.
Celebrating the Inland Empire in word, image and sound
The Inlandia Institute, a joint venture between the Riverside Public Library and Heyday Books, is a vibrant and joyous center of literary activity housed at the Main Library.
Volunteer opportunities at your library
Homework Helpers are needed to help children after school. We also need literacy tutors to help adults with basic reading and writing skills. Volunteers need to be 18 years old or older. Please call or visit the Eastside or Casa Blanca branch libraries.
