Under the Blue Cross HMO Value Option, participants must see their primary care physician for all services. The primary care may refer to a specialist, but only to a specialist within his/her medical group.

Dependent children who are full-time students* are covered until age 25, otherwise age 19.
*Full time student is minimum of 12 units per semester/quarter
