TELACU El Paseo Senior Apartments

The Redevelopment Agency of the City of Riverside is working with The East Los Angeles Community Union (TELACU) to develop an affordable senior housing project located at 4030 Harrison Street.

The project will consist of a three-story, U-shaped building designed in a Spanish/Mediterranean motif with balconies, arches, and a tower feature at the entrance. There will be 74 apartment units and one management unit. Included are two interior elevators, on-site laundry, social/community rooms, craft rooms, library, and community outdoor patios and gardens.

The units will be exclusively rented to seniors over the age of 62 whom have incomes below 50% of area median income. The project’s estimated completion date is December 2009. The Redevelopment Agency has started an interest list for these apartment units.
