Public Education
The City of Riverside Fire Department seeks to achieve the widest possible dissemination of information relating to fire and other life safety hazards within the community. The Public Education Specialist utilizes all the resources of the department to educate its citizens to accomplish this goal. This concern reflects the departmental commitment to be as vitally involved in fire prevention as fire suppression.
The Fire Department must have the active cooperation of the community in the prevention of fire and the reduction of fire risks. This combined effort can be accomplished through a mutual interchange of ideas and information. The following is information for this season. For further information, call the Public Education Specialist at (951) 826-5480.
