Subject: Live Fire Wildland Training and Defensible Space Improvement

Live fire wildland training and defensible space improvement will be conducted in the Riverbottom below the homes on the bluffs along the 5700 block of Old Ranch Rd.

The City of Riverside Fire Department will be conducting this live fire training to improve firefighter safety and to increase defensible space before the start of this year's wildland fire season.

The training will be conducted on the following dates:

Tuesday February 11th (8:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.)
Wednesday February 12th (8:30 A.M. to Noon)
Sunday February 16th (8:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.)

These burns will be conducted following strict safety guidelines and control standards.

You may see smoke, but rest assured the burns will be safe and under control.
