Banner Wildland Fire Incident - San Diego County |

Crews from the City of Riverside - Fire Department are assisting with efforts to extinguish a stubborn wildland vegatation fire in the mountainous region east of San Diego near Julian,Ca. On 5/24/12 two units with 8 total personnel were dispatched as part of immediate need Strike Teams to assist in extinguishment and structure protection. On 5/27/12 a City of Riverside Fire Engineer was dispatched to assist as a Fire Line Emergency Medical Technician to assist personnel assigned to the incident with medical issues or injuries.
Fire is currently at 4100 acres and 65% contained.
