FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
December 20, 2012 -- The City of Riverside Fire Department will be presenting toys and gifts to a family who recently experienced a fire in their residence. Firefighters responded to a structure fire in the 10200 block of Keller avenue in the City of Riverside on December 20th. The fire, which was contained to one room of the house, destroyed many of the presents that were wrapped and placed near the Christmas tree. The house was occupied by 2 adults and 4 children.
City of Riverside Firefighters have invited the family to the Arlanza Fire Station, 10191 Cypress Ave, on December 22nd at 10:00 to present the family with replacement gifts. Fire Department employees, along with local area business and community members have been participating in the Spark of Love toy drive by donating gift cards, bicycles and toys to be distributed to children throughout the city.
The City of Riverside Fire Department would like to wish everyone a Safe and Happy Holiday Season.
