Fire Department Arrests Suspect
On June 17, 2012, the City of Riverside Fire Department responded to a report of a vehicle on fire in the 3700 block of Sunnyside Ave. Fire Department personnel arrived on scene and found an SUV type vehicle with fire showing from the passenger compartment area. Witnesses in the area described an armed suspect who was seen fleeing the area. Officers from the Riverside Police Department located and detained the suspect. The suspect, Pedro Felix Jr, of Coachella, Calif., was interviewed by Investigators from the City of Riverside Fire Department Arson Investigations Unit. Upon completion of the investigation and interviews, the suspect was subsequently booked for PC 451-D, Arson to Property.
