Educational Programs

The City of Riverside Fire Department believes in the prevention of fire and injury through proactive education.Our Public Education Specialist serves as a liaison between schools, businesses, and other organizations to provide information regarding fire and life safety topics. Programs include:

Every 15 Minutes, Risk Watch, Purple Ribbon Month, Fire Expo/Open House, Learn Not to Burn, File of Life, A Fire Station Tours, School Visits, A Fire Extinguisher Training, Water Awareness, A Disaster Preparedness, Career Days.

Special activity requests for the fire department must be submitted 3-4 months before an event.
