Dream Girls at the Fox
The national tour of the award
winning musical Dream Girls
makes a stop at the Fox
Performing Arts Center (3801
Mission Inn Ave., Riverside, CA
92501) on Thursday, January 10
at 7:30 p.m. This dazzling
musical was nominated for
thirteen Tony Awards and won
six, including the Tony Award
for Best Musical. It was later
adapted into a motion picture
from DreamWorks and Paramount
Pictures, winning the Golden
Globe Award for Best Motion
Picture - Musical or Comedy and
two Oscars at the 79th Academy

4th Annual Citrus
Heritage 5K/10K Run
Riverside Road Runners will host
the fourth annual 5k and 10k
race on Saturday, January 12 at
7:30 a.m. at the Arlington
Heights Sports Park (2547 Van
Buren Blvd., Riverside, CA
92503). There is a new route
this year in the friendly and
beautiful Riverside orange grove
neighborhood and the fast, flat
and scenic course is a great
tune up race for 2013. Proceeds
go to sponsor race entry fees
and training costs for local
students to participate in the
2013 Surf City Marathon.
Registration begins at 6:30 a.m.
Come out for some fun and run
through the orange groves of
Riverside.
