 Neighborhood Stabilization Program
selected as finalist for award

The City of Riverside has been selected as a finalist for the National
League of Cities (NLC) 2010 Awards for Municipal Excellence for its
Neighborhood Stabilization and Targets of Opportunity Programs. 
The NLC chose 45 city programs from across the country as finalists,
recognizing cities and towns for outstanding programs that improve
the quality of life in America’s communities.

The City of Riverside has raised the reward for helping catch a graffiti vandal to $1000. 
Riverside is a leader when it comes to graffiti awareness, education and eradication.

 Van Buren Boulevard construction

This project is the third of five phases to improve Van Buren Boulevard
from the Santa Ana River north to the southerly City limit.  In addition to
traffic flow improvements, this project beautifies the interchange with
new retaining walls and water-wise landscaping.
