Fox announces more performances
Just added to the 2010 fall and winter concert season at
the Fox
Performing Arts Center are saxophone powerhouse Eric
Darius partnering
with Lalah Hathaway on September 11, the B52s performing
on October
15, Poison frontman Bret Michaels playing October 21,
comedian Craig
Ferguson bringing laughs on November 6 and Jason
Bonham’s Led

Arlington Heights Sports Park to open this Saturday
The grand opening of the Arlington Heights
Sports
Park
is scheduled for
this Saturday, August 21, at 5 p.m. City officials,
area residents and
various non-profit youth sports groups will come
together to celebrate the
official ribbon cutting. The evening includes live
music, food, youth
activities and an adults/kids softball game with the Riverside Police
and Fire Departments.

Star Trek Ferengi Frolic
The Star Trek Exhibition pays tribute to the quirky
extraterrestrial
Ferengi characters from the Star Trek universe during “Ferengi
Frolic”

Dog license amnesty ends this month
All late fees and past due dog license amounts will be
waived during
August 2010 (must show proof of vaccination). If
your pet’s vaccinations
are not up-to-date, take advantage of the special
low-cost one-day clinic
for dogs and cats.
