Rhythm of Riverside Concert Series

Come experience what thousands of Riversiders have already discovered.  The
City of Riverside Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department and
the Riverside Downtown Partnership are proud to present the Rhythm of
Riverside Concert Series.  This is a series of FREE family-oriented band
concerts at Fairmount Park.

Five Points Street Widening Project

Scheduled to start in October 2010, the project will improve the aesthetics of the area
by adding decorative crosswalks, landscaped parkways and a publicly maintained
landscaped area on the southeast corner of La Sierra and Hole Avenues.

California Square improvements underway

The Phase I revitalization of the California Square shopping center, located at the
corner of Monroe Street and California Avenue, continues to move forward with
the recent construction of walls and a roof structure for the Pad “A” building, a
2,500-square foot addition to the northern end of the existing Maxi Foods market.
