The City of Riverside is proud to be recognized as an Accredited Economic Development Organization (AEDO) by the International Economic Development Council (IEDC), reflecting its commitment to providing the highest level of professional economic development services.
The prestigious AEDO certification is a peer-reviewed accreditation from the International Economic Development Council that evaluates an organization's structure, funding, programs, and professionalism through documentation and an on-site review. The City of Riverside's AEDO designation signals that its Economic Development Division meets nationally recognized standards of excellence and can be trusted by the community and investors to support economic growth. With this accreditation, Riverside joins fewer than 100 organizations globally and is one of only three in California to achieve AEDO status.
