Every month the City of Riverside recognizes an Innovation Honoree that has helped shaped Riverside’s technology landscape. Tonight, November 13, 2012, the City Council will announce OmniPlatform as the November honoree.
Omniplatform’s Research and Development is located in Riverside and was founded by Drew Jorgenson who is President, CEO and Chief Software Architect. Mr. Jorgenson attended California Baptist University in Riverside and is a member of the Riverside Technology CEO Forum. He also serves on the SmartRiverside Board.
OmniPlatform provides enterprise technology and cloud services to a growing client base in the United States and internationally. Their product lines service the needs of start-ups, small and medium sized businesses, as well as Fortune 500 corporations. They developed www.activebidder.com for Riverside’s Finance Department where vendors can register on-line and download request for proposals (RFPs), and pay a nominal cost to make submissions and reviews electronically, saving significant copying and mailing costs. They are in the process or reselling that solution nationwide.
OmniPlatform also developed a tablet-based solution, TAPSemr, which is used by several hospitals across the country to capture medical patient information. The software integrates complex medical systems for recording all service provided to a patient and ensuring proper tracking of associated costs while ensuring HIPAA compliance.
“Riverside is proud to recognize the significant efforts of Mr. Drew Jorgenson in growing his business in Riverside and providing leadership to our community” said Mayor Loveridge.
