Faith Based Small Business Summit Returns to Riverside Municipal Auditorium

The 6th Annual Faith Based Small Business Summit hosted by AmPac Tri-State CDC will be held Thursday, October 24 at the Riverside Municipal Auditorium. The annual event is a valuable resource for entrepreneurs, new business owners and established business leaders to learn the tools for being a more effective business or faith based leader.

The program will include panel discussions around the following topics:

  • Leading Faith Based Leaders Discussing From Fear to Faith – Encouraging, Equipping and Inspiring the Entrepreneur – Moderated by Dr. Alan Aylor, Thrivent Financial, including Pastors Gary Hornsby – River’s Edge Church, Dr. Brian Kennedy – Mt. Zion Baptist Church; Dennis Montgomery – Praise Chapel; and Marco Garcia – The Way World Outreach
  • Social Enterprise for Business and Faith Based Groups - Creating Revenue Streams to Make a Difference in Your Business and Your Community — Moderated by Darla Donaldson, California Baptist University, Riversid
  • The Affordable Care Act - Intended and Unintended Benefits and Consequences – Making it Work for You!

The Summit will also feature an address from keynote speaker Dr. Betty Uribe, Executive Vice President, California Bank & Trust as well as a Pastor Appreciation Recognition by KSGN, 89.7FM, Family Friendly Radio Station and the Faith & Business Connection Awards. Business owners are encourage to attend to network with peers and take advantage of workshops and one-on-one opportunities with experts, lenders, and resource partners.
