Recyling Computers

Recognizing that not all residents have computers, Riverside is working with the SmartRiverside program to recycle donated computers to give to residents who have completed a computer training course through a Parks & Recreation training program at various local community centers.

The Digital Inclusion Program

Resources and support come from private and public sector volunteers, all trying to facilitate the SmartRiverside Digital Inclusion program. The program is a combination of many ideologies, working for the common goal, to foster student's academic success, to foster community participation, and to improve quality of life.

Your donated computers may qualify for a tax deduction because SmartRiverside is a 501(C)3 non-profit corporation so this is a great way to help your community and protect the environment.

* Computers are also accepted at the Collection and Drop-off events throughout the year. Please contact the (dial 311)  for event dates and locations.
