MISSION STATEMENT

"The Community Police Review Commission was created in order to promote public confidence in the professionalism and accountability of the sworn staff of the
Riverside Police Department."
 

Pursuant to Government code section 54954.2 the Community Police Review Commission will conduct a meeting at the above time and place for the purpose of transacting or discussing business as identified on this agenda. 
 

PLEASE NOTE: The scheduled hearing times are approximate.  No item will be heard before its scheduled time but may be heard later in the meeting.

PLEASE NOTE:

Members of the public who wish to address the Commission must complete and submit to the Clerk a blue "Request to Speak" form. Please note the number of the agenda item(s) on which public comment will be made.

 

Public comment will take place after the introduction of each agenda item, but prior to a guest speaker's presentation and / or the Commission's discussion of the item.  Each speaker may address the Commission for up to three (3) minutes.  During officer-involved death deliberations, family members or a family spokesperson may address the Commission for up to five (5) minutes.

       Discussion and action, if any, on the method and format for including minority points of view during OID deliberation process,
        in light of the Commission’s vote to no longer allow separate “minority reports” by Commission members.

 

  8.  CPRC's Policy Recommendations

       Discussion and action, if any, of a historical review of all CPRC policy recommendations made and their implementation
        or deferral by RPD.

 

  9.  Revisions to CPRC Policies, Procedures, & By-Laws

       Discussion and action, if any, on revisions to CPRC Policies, Procedures, & By-Laws
