Passport applications are accepted from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday (except holidays) at the City Clerk's Office, City Hall, third floor.  For more information please call (951) 826-5557 or (951) 826-5200 (Automated information line).
Passport Services is unable to accept cash, credit, or debit card payments. All payments must be made with check or money order made payable to Passport Services.

What Do I Need to Do?
Each applicant is required to:
  1. Complete the application form.
  2. Appear personally
  3. Present current valid identification (driver's license or State ID card)
  4. Submit proof of United States Citizenship (original birth certificate, certified copy of birth certificate or original naturalization certificate).
  5. Bring in two passport photos (or pay the $8 fee for the City Clerk's Office to take the photos).
  6. Pay the required fees.
It takes approximately 4 to 6 weeks to receive the passport from the Department of State Passport Agency.
Can I Expedite the Process?

For an additional fee of $60.00 per passport, Passport Services will expedite your application. This will cut processing time down to approximately 3 weeks.

Passport Services will Express Mail your expedited passport back to you (1-2 day delivery time) for an additional $16.25.

The City Clerk's Office offers Federal Express Overnight delivery of your expedited application to Passport Services. The fee for this is $16.90 in check or money order made payable to Federal Express.
