The Mayoral election was conducted on November 3, 2009, for a short-term ending June 2012. 

November 3, 2009, Semi-Final Official Mayoral Election Results:

• Kenneth L. Stansbury (Write-in)                58            
• Troy Kent (Write-in)                                   14           

Ballots cast for write-in candidates and vote-by-mail ballots received on election day will be counted during the election canvass.  Updated results will be posted as available.

All subsequent Mayoral elections will be held in June of United States Presidential election years with runoffs, if required, the following November.
