agenda is for convenience of reference. Items may be taken out
of order upon request of the Mayor or Members of the City
Council and Redevelopment Agency.
Pursuant to the City Council Meeting Rules adopted by
Resolution No. 21553, the Members of the City Council and the
public are reminded that they must preserve order and decorum
throughout the Meeting. In that regard, Members of the City
Council and the public are advised that any delay or disruption
in the proceedings or a refusal to obey the orders of the City
Council or the presiding officer constitutes a violation of
these rules.

Church - Planning Commission denial of request to revise
previously approved request to vacate easternmost 135 feet of
Thirteenth Street, between Lime and Mulberry Streets to
facilitate establishment of surface parking lot expansion - A
Resolution of the City Council of Riverside, California, making
its findings and determinations in the matter of Resolution of
Intention No. 21549; and making its order vacating a portion of

2. Cases P06-0144, P06-0145, and P06-0146 - Appeal - Doug
Shackelton of Psomas Engineering on behalf of Lew Sheridan -
Planning Commission condition of approval requiring addition of

10. Councilmembers Bailey and Hart recommend referral of joint
use of Riverside and Alvord Unified School Districts' sports
facilities to the City Council Community Services and Youth
Committee (All Wards)
11. Green Riverside – Update on Model Solar City initiative -
Appropriate $2,500,000 annually for ten years from Public
Benefits Account to expand Green Power Programs through addition
of non-residential solar rebate program and compliance with
Senate Bill 1 - Establish voluntary Green Power Premium program
available to all customers to contribute additional $.02 per
kilowatt hour for the purchase of renewable energy (All Wards)
12. Riverside Renaissance - Appropriate $6,900,000 for Bid 6521,
$650,000 for shade structure and art elements, $690,000 for
inspection and infrastructure engineering, $1,648,000 for
construction contingency from 2007 Certificates of Participation
proceeds for Main Street Pedestrian Mall Rehabilitation Project
- Award Bid 6521 to Elite Bobcat Services, Inc., Corona, for
construction services (Ward 1)
