Applications for funding for January 1 through June 30, 2013 are no longer being accepted.
The City of Riverside Sponsorship Program application process to provide City funds and in-kind services for community events produced July 1, 2013 through December 31, 2013 can be submitted.
The City recognizes that sponsorships play an important role in supporting our community, as well as promoting the tourism and economic development efforts of the City.
The granting of City funds or in-kind support is evaluated according to the effectiveness and impact the particular special event, community project or program has on the community-at-large. Special attention is paid to sponsorships that promote the attractiveness of the City as a place to visit and/or live, celebrate the heritage of the City and its environs, and/or enrich the character and quality of life of its residents and visitors.
The City Sponsorship Program provides local non-profit organizations with the opportunity to apply for City funds and/or in-kind services twice each fiscal year. The spring application process provides support for charitable, community events produced between July 1st and December 31st. The fall application process provides support for charitable, community events produced between January 1st and June 30th. The City Sponsorship Program is administered by the Arts & Cultural Affairs Division of the Development Department.
