MISSION STATEMENT

"The Community Police Review Commission was created in order to promote public confidence in the professionalism and accountability of the sworn staff of the
Riverside Police Department."
 

Pursuant to Government code section 54954.2 the Community Police Review Commission will conduct a meeting at the above time and place for the purpose of transacting or discussing business as identified on this agenda.  Any member of the public wishing to address the board on any of today’s agenda items should submit a “Request to Speak” form to the Administrative Secretary prior to the commencement of the meeting.

      Discussion and further action, if any, of the Commission's public report regarding the officer-involved death of
       Joseph Hill on October 19, 2006:

      A)   Initiate discussion of Stage III, Policy & Procedure Certification Process

            1)  Taser Training by RPD

       initial Ride-Along’s by new commissioners.

 

4.   CPRC Policies, Procedures, & By-Laws

      Discuss future amendments to the Policies, Procedures, & By-Laws of the Community Police Review Commission.

 

5.   Items for Future Committee Consideration

      This is an opportunity for committee members to request items for inclusion on a future agenda.  This includes issues
       that are the result of a discussion on an agendized item but are not specifically agendized for discussion or action,
       and other topics that may be of interest to and with the purview committee.
